Trenython is a secluded English Manor House set in a peaceful 25-acre estate in the beautiful county of Cornwall. This unique Manor has been lovingly restored and remodeled to create one of the finest and most exclusive holiday destinations to be found anywhere in the British Isles. Very much in evidence is Trenython's own fascinating history. It was built in 1872 for Cornishman, Colonel John Whitehead Peard, and designed by an Italian architect commissioned by the great Italian patriot Guiseppe Garibaldi. The Manor retains its grand Italian style with imposing staircases and colonnades, beautiful oak paneling and Italian marble.
The Trenython Estate forms part of the Cornish Riviera, a part of England renowned for its beautiful scenery and a mild climate encouraging many sub tropical plants to grow wild. Tranquil, peaceful walks through the steeply wooded valley reveal Mother Nature in all her glory, with butterflies, birds, trees and shrubs. Another lovely way to explore the countryside is on horseback through the winding county lanes. Despite the seclusion afforded by its tranquil wooded estate, fabulous beaches are only three miles away and many other leisure and historic attractions are to be found nearby.
